Develop a routine and really work at sticking to your planned routine.
Decide what you’ll wear the night before, including the socks, shoes, undergarments, jewelry, etc. and lay it out. If it needs ironed or thrown in the dryer to remove the wrinkles,d o it the night before.
Set the alarm clock for a set time and get up when it goes off. If you are in the habit of setting the snooze button, set the clock 15 minutes early so that you can hit the snooze once. Decide what you’ll do first, eat breakfast or take a shower. Streamline things as much as possible. Take a quick shower.
Get your purse, bag and books and anything you need to take to school around and put in a designated place so you aren’t running around in the morning trying to pack your bag or looking for a book.
Pack as much of your lunch the night before as possible. You could pack the whole thing and put the whole thing in the fridge to keep it cold.
1) Set a routine, into bed and get up a the same time every night.
2) Set clothes out in the evening, set everything for school (ie books, backpacks) in a designated area so you don’t need to look for them in the morning.
3) Prepare for breakfast as much as possible before bed. For example set your cereal box, a bowl with a spoon and the loaf of bread of the kitchen counter. Obviously you can’t set the milk out but that will help.
- Pick out outfits the night before, include shirt, pants, jewelery, socks, shoes, undergarmets, accerories, ect.
- Make their lunch, that you can the night before,Such as already processed food like chips, fruit roll ups, ect, not samwitches or fruit/veggies, if you prepare them lunchs.
-Make sure there backpack is ready the night before, Such as all homework is in,books, pencils, notebooks,. Ect.
- Be very involed & help your kids!
- Take showers the night before, saves a lot of time, Unless you don’t feel fresh taking them at night.
- if they dont need help getting ready, thats a great time to prepare there breakfast.
You pick, Yes I did write ” the night before” alot because that is the key to everything lol
Hope I helped
Check the weather for the next day. Before you go to sleep, pick out your clothes for the next day. Set your alarm clock (if you have one) or tell you parents to wake you up 10 minutes earlier then you are use to. Don’t lounge around in bed forever when you get up, just get up and get going. Then, when you are done with taking a shower (if you do) and changing, eat breakfast. make sure that you are all packed up to go to school before you sit down for breakfast. Also, they usually serve breakfast at most schools, so you could eat breakfast at school.
Check the weather the night before – see what you’ll need to wear. For example, where I like, yesterday it was 50, today it was 70 – I’d need to check.
Shower the night before if it doesn’t make you feel too gross in the morning. Have an outfit picked out. Put all the books and notebooks you need in your backpack and have it ready to go.
Over the weekend, make up a bunch of pancakes, french toast, etc. and freeze some – over the week, pop a couple in the microwave for a minute, presto, you’ve got a good breakfast – much better than poptarts.
For starters, try to select clothes to wear the night before. Also, if you bring Lunch or water, get those ready in the evening, too. Remember to make sure everything is in your backpack that you’ll need for the next school day, too. If you do these things, they should help a bit. I’m a messy high-schooler, and they’ve certainly worked well for me! : P
1. Eat items that are easy to gulp down – like an energy drink plus egg (like fruit, salad etc. take a lot of chewing time – so add them to other meals)
2. Don’t day dream when you are getting ready
3. Fix a time by when you wd sit at the table – and try to catch that time – like that is your target for being fully ready.
I was going to say wake up earlier but.. that is always easier said than done.
But it is nice that you are focusing on getting a good breakfast.
Plan everything out the night before. Wake up 10 minutes early. Grab a granola bar on your way out the door.
