Anger Management Techniques And Tips?

10

I’m 15 and I have trouble managing my anger. I have already been to anger management once before. I have a bad habit of bottling things up and even when I talk about it, it doesn’t help. If you have any anger management techniques, besides anger management classes or therapy, please let me know.

it’s not good to be angry all the time it can make a person age 10 faster try to think of good things and appreciate everything that you are fortunate to have live love and laugh more.

I literally have to tell myself to calm down. Then I remove (physically if possible) myself from the situation. I think about how bad and stupid it would be if I give into my emotion (punching, screaming, breaking, cursing) and then I rationalise a way to make it better (calm reasoning with the person, fixing the problem at hand instead of simply reacting). Getting away from some time and really thinking about the problem seems to help. Good luck!

have birth eye view. think about the situation that it is temporary. although you are not guilty because of the situation that you are caught up with now. yet you are accountable to solve the issue. so nothing can be solved by anger. try to be some one above your self and tell yourself what to do. instead of letting yourself to do what he/she wants to do.

When you get angry take three breaths and think:
Why am I angry?
What do I want to do?
Is this a logical reaction to whatevers making me mad?
How would most people react to this?
You should have already walked away from whatevers making you angry at this point, unless its not a person or you cant.

i used to have anger management problems myself, but in recent days ive learned to mature and control myself.. for me it was an age thing. Just take a deep breathe when ur angry and have the mind set that being angry will resolve nothing at all. So its just a waste of time

It is a really good idea to find out why you get so angry , when this is diagnosed then it can be resolved permanently ….you can be free of this problem …in the meantime have a look at

I used to kill people but now I become stoic. Nothing phases me. Don’t care about the good or the bad, simply let it go. or You can whale on a punching bad and lift weights/play violent video games.
