HELP! i am 49 years old and still have not figured out how to accomplish goals and get things done!

some of the things i want to do include learning to play guitar, writing songs, writing a screenplay, keeping up my herb garden, getting my housed cleaned up, cleaning out my closet, having a budget, learning how to manage money, learning how to invest wisely, getting caught up on several major projects at my job, and the list goes on and on….

if any of you have figured out how to accomplish your dreams and to get things done and still have your sanity, I NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU!!!!!

and, by the way, i have tried many times to DO THINGS, but it seems all i ever get done is to spin my wheels.

if anyone can identify with me and has been in my situation and overcome it, please SHARE SOME OF YOUR IDEAS WITH ME!!!!

thank you very much. i really appreciate it.

Many years ago, I read books about stress management and time management and I came across the S.M.A.R.T. of goal setting. When you set your goals, please consider your goals are Specific, Measurable, Attainable/Achievable, Realistic/Rewardable and within a Time frame. They are very useful and helpful. I strongly recommend you to try. Please look at the following websites:

I do not have a list of goals nowadays, but I manage to be a working mother, to handle almost all the housework and spend hours with my daughter daily. Luckily, I also manage to have some private time to read books and do yoga. I am very happy with my life like that.

I use list all the time, set priority within the list. I like neat and tidy, so I can work efficiently. I use a white board attached to my own Calendar where I record all the appointments and reminders. When I plan something, I always write the ideas down or make a list.

Good luck! :-)
