I am so happy he will not be hogging the headlines & a new face like Drew Brees will get some media attention instead of the media hog Brett Favre..
Are you happy we dont have to hear about him anymore?

I know. I can finally watch the news and ESPN Sportscenter without the constant “Brett is so awesome” segment every ten minutes.
Last week I told my girlfriend “The old Favre has to come back some time” and “Why didn’t he play this well for the Packers all those years?”. Well, tonight we finally saw the old Favre come out of his shell. Although for the Packers, he often threw 3, 4, even 6 interceptions in a playoff game. I was sick of hearing about how well Favre’s revenge was going. Now the Vikings fans get to hear the whole “He’s retiring, now he’s coming back, wait… he’s retiring… no he’s not” fiasco.
OMG I am elated not just that, but don’t have to hear from most of the bragging Vikings fans and their wagon-jumpers. They have picked on every fan especially the Packer fans No more are you sry Brett is gonna take us to the Superbowl ? are you hurt you got rid of Brett ? is Brett gonna get rid of the trash Saints tomorrow night ? on and on. Its over and their bragging ban- wagoners are gone. I believe they will jump, on the Saints or Colts now. They just change avatars, but @ least no more wonder boy Brett..
No, I’m NOT happy. He and the Vikings were robbed. Any level-headed football fan knows that’s the truth. I agree that it’s good to see a NEW team in the Super Bowl, but they don’t deserve to be there. All of you Favre-haters can gloat all you want. It took cheap-shots and faulty officiating to keep him and the Vikings out of the Super Bowl. The Vikings might have won and Brett might have retired. FOR GOOD, this time. I hope he does retire this off-season. He does need all of this disrespect.
HELL YEAH! I’m so glad I don’t have to hear the name Favre 1,000,000 times in the next two weeks. I watched the game in a house a full of broncos fans including me, and I was the ONLY person that wanted the saints to win..they all said “I don’t like the vikings I just want Favre to win another ring.” He had his chance against our broncos..but failed. He had a shot to go in his last year with green ba..and failed. His season in new york..failed. He had a legitimate shot this year, but this game proved he’s just not agile enough anymore to win it all..I do feel he his one of the top 3 QB’s of all time..but its just time to sit it down and enjoy those millions of dollars.
I dont ever recall Favre hogging any media. The media is like a swarm of flies chasing any kind of crap we are willing to debate over. Favre is an amazing player. Im a Packer fan and am happy with our new guy for the future, but I was really hopin Favre would take it this year(Now my team is eliminated). 19 freakin years and playing better than 90% of all active QBs. He deserves the attention. For a guy who can go and do what ever the F&%$ he wants…he sure s humble. Not a loudmouth like T.O or other overhyped players whose names werent even mentioned in the playoffs.I will take a legend over a new face anyday!
My answer is NO!
I would have liked to see him go and be shut down by the colts but on the other hand i am glad i don’t have to hear about him making it. he needs to retire already, tonight’s game proved that.
yes, I’m tired of hearing about him, his only record that will stand forever is his int records.
Yes.
Had the Vikings made it, we would have heard nothing but Favre, Favre, Favre for 2 weeks.
oh we will probably hear about him in some form or another.
he will probably retire this week to keep himself in the news.
I don’t even follow football and I’m tired of him!
