Are You Happy With Your White Ink Tattoo?

5

I have heard and seen good and bad about pure white ink tattoos. I’d like to get one on my wrist (and no, I wasn’t aware Lindsay had one there until I started this research) because I’d like to see it, but I don’t really care if anyone else can or not. I’d like it to be easily coverable if the situation requires it, but I do want to know it’s there. If you have one–are you happy with it, and do you have any advice?

I have 2 pure white tattoos and you can still see both of them. I have multiple stars on my wrist that are white and an aries sign behind my ear that I love. Just make sure your tattoo artist uses bright white ink and you’ll be fine.

i have a white ink tattoo of a sun on the inside of my wrist and i love it! you get the art and pattern of a tattoo without the harshness of colour. basically it is just the skin bumped up in the pattern the tattoo was inked without colour.

i had a tattoo on my foot which i wanted small white flowers placed in to, when i told my artist thats what i wanted he very honestly told me that within the first couple of weeks of the tattoo being done the flowers would be skin colour so there would really be no point and the few flowers i wanted he did actually leave skin toned rather than colour them white. i really think u would be wasting ur time and money to go get a white tattoo that will only last about 2 weeks

I have a purely white tattoo on my ribs. It’s been there almost a year and is definitely white. I love it and I am glad I have pale skin so that it will hopefully continue to be white. It’s also not in a spot the sun really sees except when I go swimming so the chance of it fading really fast is a lot lower than if it was somewhere else.

I have some white ink in two of my tattoos. One done two years ago, the other done about a month ago.
In both tattoos you can’t see the white ink anymore, it’s like it was never there.
If you want a white ink tattoo, you will not know it’s there after the scabbing is done. They fade very quickly.
