Can Anyone Help Me, I Have Just Started Highschool And Would Like To Set My Goals In Life.?
At this early stage of my life i am wanting to become a primary school teacher.Can anyone tell me what IQ i need to get in year 12, What subjects to really focus on, How long at uni will it take and any other usefull information. Thank you for you time

First of all you will have the same IQ now as you will in year 12. IQ measures intelligence not knowledge. If you want to be a teacher then don’t worry much about what you take in high school just be well rounded. Try to volunteer with kids or find a job that works with kids. I would suggest an after school daycare program at a local elementary school. In college you will find the right courses. And also have fun. High schools tends to be fun.
im not trying to be rude or anything but its a little early for you to be setting your goals in life. I mean at this stage you should be considering careers and be trying your hardest at school. For mostly any career you should be taking the most challenging classes as these will help you get into a good university for any career later on in life.

Consider careers. Don’t narrow down yet. For all you know by the time you’ve graduated you’ll have become a cello prodigy and your dream will be to play with the Phil Harmonic Orchestra.
Second, although someone pointed this out already, IQ measures intelligence not what you’ve learned. You’re IQ for the most part should stay the same.
As for your actual stupid assignment (Gosh I hated those. I thought they were a waste of time. I’m going to change through the next four years. Why try to mold me into your perfect idea now?!) Yet again, follow what I said on IQ.
You should hold a decent GPA. 2.5 and up. It depends on what college you want to attend though. A community college will accept 80-90% of applicants whereas Harvard only accepts 9%.
Many schools offer child development classes, such as the home ecs and tenn living. Take those for teaching.
Also, it depends on it you’d rather teach PE or a music class over normal classes. If you want one of those you should take classes geared to those.
Take your basic maths/sciences/English/history courses also, all four years. Colleges like those.
