Can One Truly Be Happy If Those Around You Are Very Unhappy?
If your neighbour or co-worker etc are struggling and you are the only one well off, can you be happy? Any danger from being sorounded by unhappy people?
What is wrong with a government that cares for his own people? Will you rather spend your money fighting people in the court room for useless things than helping your needy friends around you?

No. I think deep down empathy keeps most of us from being happy when those around us are not. I know I cannot feel joy when someone I know or care about is hurting. I do all I can to help them resolve whatever is making them unhappy.

Very, very, hypothetical question. Anyway, I think if ever I’m well off its coz I know how to handle money better than the others around me and so I’ll rather spend time sharing my wisdom on how to handle money than spend money on them. ( I am a miser!!!) By the way there is a quote that reads like this, if u give a fish to a poor man he only learns how to depend on u but u teach the man how to fish u’ve made his life. Like it?

If you truly care for your fellow man it is difficult.Is there any way you can help?By helping it should make one feel happier that you are doing all that you can.

you can be happy but when your around unhappy people then it brings everyones mood down and creates bad atmosphere
i dont think anyone can ever be TRULY happy….its not in our nature we will always strive for more if we can get it
