Can someone who is thoroughly convinced that his life is predetermined by God lead a happy life?
Please help me. I am completely convinced after many days of thinking that we are being played by God and we have no free will at all. How to be happy?

Some ppl like to feel controlled, it makes them feel more safe
Work it out, it’ not too hard. Look….after many days of thinking you are thoroughly convinced…….that’s your clue. You convinced yourself. You trapped yourself. How to be happy? Change your mind.
yes, If it were me and my life was “predetermined” I would consider it a challenge to break out of “destiny” and create my own future. Ultimately though, being happy is completely up to the perception of the individual. When you change the way you perceive the world you can change the world you perceive thus self creating a “happy” life. Just so you know you actually need bad experiences to differentiate between happy and sad and everything is about balance.
It all depends. If you really believe in a God, you can lead a very happy life. My father did. His faith led him through big trouble and heavy sickness with a confidence I seldom see around me. He believed beyond any doubt that God did what was best for him, and never thought of it as predetermination. It is easy to understand that, when one believes in such a powerful presence, bending the head for it and believing one should follow its path has nothing to do with loss of free will and everything with religion and (the mystery of) believing.
I myself lost my faith when I was a youngster, and, to tell you the truth, I regretted it always a bit.
But, well, I manage without Him, nevertheless.
