I think that natural and man-made disasters, as well as famine, pestilence and war, have probably been just redefined by us.
It may be true that all those things were blamed upon the displeasure of a sad God, it’s as good an excuse as any, since I don’t think they’ve become less powerful nor far-reaching.
God simply does not come to mind as easily whenever a storm arises.

well the deal with Noah’s story which tends to be the pinnacle of gods wrath stories, you have to go to enoch, and look up the enochian angels. these angels mated with humans and fell, the angels were cursed to roam earth till judgement day and descide which side they will take. while their children when they came to be, were giants who terrorized the land. (oddyseus ran into a giant, and there is a few bible stories and references of giants) and as far as moses goes, people were being abused and almost wiped out. so he stepped in.

He certainly seemed to chill a whole lot.
Maybe he just realised he was actually a logical paradox and decided to not to push his luck in existing at all,and just go with the flow.
