Self Concept: I’m a driven person who cares about others. I’m creative and also analytical and people like me: that is a self concept

Self Esteem: I’m overweight, nobody would ever want to date me let alone have sex with me. Everytime I open my mouth something stupid comes out. I wish people would leave me alone because I’m just stupid.: Low self esteem…

I look great in the mirror. My workouts are showing. My girlfriend loves how firm I’m getting. I’m really smart. I do well in school. People like me and I feel proud of who I am: High self esteem

I think that self concept is how you see yourself in comparison to everyone else, and that self esteem is how good or bad you feel about yourself. Self esteem pretty much involves self concept, since your self esteem is based off of how you see yourself.

Put very simply, self concept is about who you think you are as a person, while self esteem is how you feel about yourself as a person.

Self concept involves how you define yourself – your key personality traits, how you fit in to the social networks around you (like your cultural identity, your roles – brother, father, employee etc, social status and so on), your core beliefs and moral convictions, your talents and limitations – that sort of thing.

Self esteem involves how you feel about yourself – whether you think you are a good person, whether you feel you live up to the standards set by yourself and others, whether you think you have worth as an individual etc.

Self concept is what u feel about yourself. Self esteem is the amount of self confidence and self respect.
The former is about how you feel, how you behave with others, how you react to situations etc. It is a state of the mind.
Self esteem is what you feel you are; your self confidence, the feeling that you can manage any situation, that you are not inferior to any other etc.
In a sense, unless you a have good concept of yourself, it is difficult to develop self esteem. I hope I am clear ?

What I can discuss is you doing your own homework…or at least showing that you’re making an effort….

Really! This is a pretty easy question if you stop to think about it. But, again, that calls for effort on your part.
