Do Liberals Have A Positive Attitude Towards Down Syndrome People?
I have not found this to be true in the past.
In fact, it always seems to me, that its the Conservatives that have a more positive outlook on people with DS.
Oh well, feel free to prove me wrong….

Well I’m a liberal (American) and I don’t think I have a negative outlook on people with disabilities that are mental or physical. I feel that everyone has a contribution to make to society in their own way. I feel that conservatives may seem to be more positive because they are pro-life, but once that person is born they don’t bother to worry about how they will then survive (welfare, healthcare, housing, education, jobs, recreation, social support, assisted-living, etc.)
Yes, liberals DO have a positive attitude towards handicapped people.
They positively prefer them dead in their mother’s womb.
What does being liberal or conservative have to do with how you look at people with disabilities … I would think compassion crosses political lines .
