Well first and foremost, the goal of anger management classes is to reduce both your emotional feelings and the physiological arousal that anger causes. You can’t get rid of, or avoid, the things or the people that enrage you, nor can you change them, but you can learn to control your reactions. I do believe in it only if the person is courages

No they really piss me off! Dumb joke? I saw this on a tee-shirt. It said “My anger management class really pisses me off.”
Seriously though, there is value in controlling one’s anger. Or even in not feeling angry at all.
Anger is mostly a destructive emotion. It is also unhealthy. Raises blood pressure.
I think a lot of anger comes from focusing too much on status and ego-gratification. A person who is always trying to one-up people and make himself feel superior may become angry when the rest of the world refuses to recognize his greatness. The cure for this? Get over yourself!
Just chill, man. Relax. Let it go. Somebody cuts you off on the freeway? Let it go.
Realize that being angry will not improve most situations, it will only make things worse. Do you really need a class for this? I don’t think so. Analyze why you are angry in a given situation.
Then try to take a calm approach to rectifying the situation. In other words, don’t get mad. Get even! OK… that’s another joke. I did not mean that.
Dr. Wayne Dyer has some interesting things to say about anger in his book “Your Erroneous Zones”. You might want to pick it up sometime.
