Yes in some ways it can change those around us because thoughts are energy. But Prayer is more than just good energy. Prayer can invoke God to change the course of peoples karmic reaction due to Him being pleased with someone or due to deep compassion for someone or some situation. Prayer can break the barriers of the laws of material nature and invoke God to change our destiny or the destiny of another. Destiny meaning the karmic reactios that are due to them. (though He already knows this will all take place.

Only on an individual and personal level. By lifting yourself out of despair, you can serve as an example to others.

Yes, I do. Perhaps prayer changes the person, and it is this change that comes to be in the world.

Prayer is communion with God, goodwill toward others is a positive vibe, and they vary in their effects, but are continuations on the same theme. Prayer is best used for personal transformation of character, and goodwill has prayers effect transferred to others. Thoughts are not as potent as words, and both are impotent by comparison to action, for the latter parts are inclusive of the former, multiplied in force.

I don’t think prayer is simply a positive vibe, prayer is what’s being prayed, if someone prays that they will be a better person and then falls back into bad habits they have achieved nothing through prayer other than convincing them self they have mad some kind of effort. As for positive thinking I put it to YOU, do you think bad thoughts and a negative attitude can change the world around you.

I think that a positive attitude and focusing on what is good in your life and what you want to get out of life will bring you into alignment with more of those positive things.
Ever notice that those who talk most of money or health problems have the most money and health problems, and those that talk about the good things in their life always seem to have more good? It’s very true. When I realized this, it was as if a shift took place in my whole life and things got better. My health quickly got better, my outlook changed, my attitude was positive and I started to notice more of the same every day. I don’t think it can change “the world”, but it did wonders for my little “world”.
I don’t see prayer as a positive vibe, but more as a negative vibe. People generally pray when they are in a state of worry or need…. these are results of negative emotions, not positive.

THE LAW OF CREATION
Within the heart of man there exist a great mysterious power5 to use a “LAW OF CREATION”. What is this law? How does it work? The LAW OF CREATION is just like any other natural law that is found in our world. The law of gravity keeps things from floating off in space. If we use the law of gravity wisely we can do all kinds of good things. For example a grandfather clock uses gravity to run and keep time for us. If we understand the law of gravity we can harness it to accomplish things that we could not otherwise do. Other natural laws like water seeks its own level are used in irrigation. Many physics laws are used, such as “For every action there is an equal but opposite reaction”. This is a basic law used in rocket design and an understanding of this and other natural laws allow mankind to accomplish great feats. Sometimes to man’s betterment and some times to his destruction.
A rocket can send satellites in space to enrich our lives for telecommunications or it can carry a weapon of mass destruction. The principals of science are the same in both cases as far as the rocket is concerned but, we by choice, can use this power for markedly different results. So it is with the LAW OF CREATION.
So what is this LAW OF CREATION ? Well guess what? You use it everyday. Simply put the LAW OF CREATION is “ as a man thinks in his heart so is he”6. There are two parts to this statement….. The thinking part…..and the heart part. Let us look at the thinking part first.
Let us do an experiment …..What I want you to do is pick out an object that was created by man and I am going to tell you a great truth about that object. Stop reading and pick out any object in your surroundings….. once you have picked it out turn the page for this truth about what you have picked out.
Ready? Before your object became into being in the material world it was a thought in someone’s mind……..And so it is with all things in your life………The first part of any reality is a thought7…..thus, control your thoughts…..control your life.
Most people focus on the outside world to effect change. There is a certain degree of chaos in our physical world and if we start to change our lives by focusing on the outside world we meet with that chaos and a wide array of influences that could take us in a direction we wish not to go. It is easy to be drawn off the path we wish to follow. The pull of material things is strong and we are confronted by them all around us…..everywhere8. The pathway to effectively and efficiently change our lives is very narrow9, hard to find but easy to follow10…it lies within us. By approaching your situation with the correct attitude and thoughts that are in harmony with your beliefs you can accomplish ANYTHING11!!! Ultimately, we all do have to act in the physical world to effect change but it is futile unless it is first initiated with the proper spirit or frame of mind or thought coupled with BELIEF. This is what is called being centered…..Having self confidence…..possessing a positive self image.
Many times when Christ healed the sick he asked “Do you believe that this can be done?12 and the answer would be “Yes Lord!” His response would be “As you so believe, let it be done unto you.”13 I know that all the Lord had to do was utter the word or will for the sick individual to be healed and it would be done14…So when he wanted to heal someone why didn’t he just do it? Because he often took the time to teach us that the power to effect real change in our lives lies within us.15 That’s why he asked the sick if they BELIEVED it could be done…..
Here is an interesting idea…..In all of your life…..in all of your being…..there is only one place you have absolute control and total mastery ……it is in your mind and the thoughts you put into it…..all other areas of your existence are impacted by other forces and the chaos of this world. However, DO NOT fear the chaos…..FEAR leads to failure16. Being centered, having self confidence and a positive self image leads to success!
We are told “REJOICE!! THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND!!”17 Guess what? It is!! Where is it? The pathway is in your heart or your inner self.18 Listen, we as Christians are taught that Christ died for our sins and was resurrected on the third day19 and was the first fruits redeemed back to God the Father.20 Where is he now? He lives in all men21….. He fills all and all22 …..He sits at the Fathers right hand23 … He and the Father are one!24 Christ is the interface between us and God25. The laws that He used to complete his miracles are the same laws that you use everyday to create your life! It does not matter if you are aware of it or not. It does not matter if you accept that what I am telling you is true or not… You still use the LAW OF CREATION …..Everyday…..with every thought….. with every belief…..to improve your life…or defile your life26 with your own free will…because of your own deity27. What? You did not know that you are a child of God created in his own image, a brother of Christ and joint heir28.
By thinking the right things and believing the right things, you can do anything29…..have anything30…..be anything….,Sometimes even things that are not good for you.31 With your free will the LAW OF CREATION works both ways. It can empower you to enrich your life or it can make you weak and cause great discourse, sorrow and woe for you and others around you. Start right now by creating positive uplifting thoughts and you will create a positive uplifting life.32.
Now that we have talked some about thinking, let’s talk about the heart or inner self. The heart is the area of our lives where we store our convictions about life. Our beliefs about natural laws are found there. We all believe the sun will rise in the morning. We all believe in the way that gravity works in our lives. We also find all of our moral convictions there. What we believe is right or wrong. What we believe is immoral or morally correct. Our ethics are found there.
One major difference between the inner self and the thinking side of our being is that the thinking side is completely and immediately subject to our will…..in that we can put any thought in there that we choose. The inner self is subject to our thoughts or will but it does not immediately accept them as true or righteous, but it always reacts to each and every thought in some way and causes the LAW OF CREATION to implement itself. If you are exposed to a new idea or concept that challenges some previously held belief and you decide in your mind that new evidence shows that your previous belief is not totally correct, it will take some time before your inner self is re-configured to put into action this new concept (old habits die hard).33 Think of your mind and your inner self, as it relates to this new concept as a mold. If you pour water into this mold the water immediately takes on the shape of the mold (this is representative of the thoughts you put into your mind). If you put clay into this mold you must push and apply pressure on the clay at the point of entry into the mold in order for the clay to completely fill and take on the perfect shape of the mold (this is representative of a belief being changed or accepted by the inner self). All beliefs must be reinforced in your mind through careful consideration or repetition to be established in your heart or inner self.
Now this is very important, how your thoughts line up or are in sync with your belief system or inner self… or how they conflict with your inner self has EVERYTHING to do with what happens in your physical world. If you have a sense of expectancy that today will be a wonderful day and look forward to having things work for the good in your life and truly believe that the challenges that we all face will ultimately be resolved in a beneficial way for ALL parties involved. The LAW OF CREATION will work to create this reality in your life. Likewise, if you approach this day with fear and an expectancy that today will bring sorrow and trouble and that your challenges will only be further complicated….. the LAW OF CREATION will follow YOUR faith to bring this to fruition. How will you perceive your challenges34? With fear and dread? Or an opportunity to make change for the better?
However, our heart or inner self is always life ward. It makes sure we breath when we sleep, all of our bodily functions continue without needing a thought from us or any real effort. Our inner spirit sees to it that we continue on with all needed functions to sustain life. If our body is injured our inner self immediately starts to heal the injury. The inner self is predisposed life ward. Its tendency is to bless us. However, we can use the LAW OF CREATION in a negative way as God allows us to have free will. Faith is the belief in something not yet seen.35 By belief I mean that you accept the object of your desire as already existing in your life36 …surly you will get results. Guess what? You can have faith in negative things as well and the LAW OF CREATION will bring them into being using the same principles to make them so.
I once knew a man who had a conflict with his father, where they were at odds about compensation for a business project that the son had successfully completed on his fathers behalf. They had agreed upon a formula for compensation that ultimately proved to be a windfall for the son and the father was to receive what he asked his son to negotiate for him. The father decided that the compensation the son was to receive was too great and changed the terms of compensation. The son was hurt by this turn of events and sought counsel from his minister. The sons position was that what happened was right for the father and not right for himself. The wise minister made the point that it was not possible for the same condition to be right for one person and not right for another. That the resolution to this dilemma would be right for both of them or wrong for both of them. The son ultimately was not compensated directly for his efforts. The father spent his life in a way that was frugal and tight fisted with his money. However, ultimately the father died and his son being an heir inherited the money anyway. Suppose the son had not forgiven his father or held a grudge and treated his father disrespectfully.37 Quite possibly he may not have been an heir to his fathers estate. Interestingly enough the father never realized any real benefit from his fortune other than to have the money…..Money in and of its self has no real value only if you spend it wisely to enrich some ones life does it do any good at all. The real point of this story is that the power within you…to correctly recognize and properly use the LAW OF CREATION…..there is no real need for greed. If you are to accomplish some great feat or realize some great long term and lasting success, financial or otherwise, it can not and will not be at the expense or loss of others. If you approach your financial goals with the expectancy that others must loose in order for you to gain, any success you have will be fleeting because of the LAW OF CREATION that YOU use will fulfill your expectancy so that others will profit at YOUR loss.38 If your expectancy is that your gains also enrich others in the process, all of your dealings will be fruitful for yourself as well as others.39
Gods world is a world of plenty40 …not a world of need…we are not here to live in pain and fear.41 Christ came that we may have life and have it more abundantly.42
Finally, lets look at how some of our beliefs can actually subvert the very things we desire. A popular belief is that money is the root of all evil. Now, if the inner self has been conditioned to accept this as true the LAW OF CREATION will act upon this belief. The holder of this belief will be under compensated in their career and any good financial windfall will result in misfortune and woe. The correct scripture is the LOVE of money is the root of all evil43.
THIS IS IMPORTANT:
THE BELIEF (S) THAT YOU HOLD TO BE TRUE IN YOUR HEART ARE THE ONES THAT HAVE TO SYNC UP WITH YOUR THOUGHT AND YOUR STATE OF MIND.
If you believe that MONEY is the root of all evil you need to think in a way that is harmonious with that belief or there will be discord in your life as it relates to money. It does not matter what the bible says or its intended meaning or what I believe or what your friends believe……its what your believe!!
As stated before, money in and of itself has no real value…You can’t eat it…wear it…it can’t keep you warm as there are other materials that burn much more efficiently or insulate more efficiently. And there is nothing inherently evil about it. It is just paper and metal fashioned to fit some common need. But the mind of a man and how he perceives and approaches the acquisition of wealth could become evil if he does not recognize that we live in a world of plenty and greed is not necessary and ultimately greed is counter productive. Greed forces you to focus on outside conditions (the chaos)…the path to true everlasting wealth lies through the heart Godward44.
If a man realizes that money is just a tool to use for the common good of all men…much like a carpenter uses a hammer to build a house, then this tool will be readily available to use everyday to enrich his life and all around him. But beware, wealth must flow through you to others in order for its full potential to be realized by you45…If you love it…lust after it and try to capture it all for yourself you surly will loose it. It is kind of like a light bulb. If electricity flows through it…it lights the room for all around to use and the brightest place is actually where the electrons flow through the filament. Wouldn’t you like to be the filament that wealth flows through? Lighting the lives of all around you.46 But if the electron flow stops… no one derives benefit…there is not light. Likewise if the flow of your wealth stops at you there is no benefit and the light it can create ceases to exist47
Well, this is a really condensed version or your NEW VISION. You should have many questions. Once you have read this through please re-read it and this time follow it through the foot notes that lead you to scripture to support the ideas put forward herein.
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise think about these things.48
