do you recall who judged king DAViD for his sins? was it the LORD or was it DAViD by his own mouth?
do you think that long before you were born that you made promises as to what you were going to to with your life on earth when you got here and do you think you’re accomplishing them now?

No. He told everyone in the New Testament that someone had to die for sins. As time went on, he realized he didn’t want to kill anyone, but if he went back on his word all of his other promises would be worthless. So, he decided the person that would die would be him. Pretty selfless if you ask me.
um, it’d be mean to dump him on some poor counselor who’d probably end up an innocent victim
It was my understanding the “Jewish God” is considered far worse, ordering all those genocides, etc.
