Well we always set goals just by nature. We may not do it formally, but everything we do, there is a goal, or a purpose behind it. So there is a goal behind all events a person carries out. They just may not be formally written out, which by the way DOES help to stay organized

not set goals but look at what you want and you will get it if you really desire it

Yes D,
Whether we want to or not we do set goals. We eat, we get up, we work, we mature these are goals. To make conscious goals lead us to keenly focus on what we want out of life. By making goals we can set small objectives that will allow us to meet these goals. Meeting these goals fulfill us and make us happy which is rewarding.

I don’t think setting goals is particularly worthwhile but I think decisive direction is. Solomon said ” A man plans his life but God decides his steps”. People seldom end up where they set out to go in life due to circumstances and personal limitations but maintaining a set of principles by which to live is better than being blown hither and thither so to speak.
