But I think the first question is most probable. Being too needy is this life is not good; it seems to make the most victims.

and its not always that women have low self esteem thats why they cant let go and pick up and leave, but its move, hoping for a change, they are attached and they cant let go, and are scared to, because they are scared to knwo whats out there, and they dont want to be alone.

I agree with Bill. It is a vicious cycle and it could begin either way. It took me many years to break the cycle, but it was so worth the effort I put into it. Now if only I could lose the poor self-esteem, I’d be set!
