i think habits are humans biggest weakness. smoking, watching a certain show, gambling, drugs, biting nails, etc etc, telling our yong from the start to read bible and go to a organized church puts them in a habbit too, let people make their own decisions when they are 18 years old, when they are little they will do anything older people will do, wait till they get to ethics and make their own decisions, to take it or not. etc etc

main point is, organized religions cause wars, degrades opposite sex, race, causes rebelion (kids not wanting to go to church because their favoright tv show is on, or theyre tired, or lazy or want to stay home) which raises them to grow up to be little shits

no war.
i added the part about ethics, so nobody say anything about teaching them about different types of religions

ethics=study of religion
shadowwolf, this is exactly what i believe as well, and have strong budhist beliefs
TO MAKE MY SELF A LITTLE MORE CLEAR, THE QUESTION WAS ASKING IF ANYONE ELSE WAS OPPOSED TO ORGANIZED RELIGION. PERIOD, BECAUSE I WAS CURIOUS, ISNT THAT WHAT YAHOO IS FOR.

i don’t oppose religion and people having their own decisions i mentioned all that, i oppose organized religion read the damn questions people, stop trying to sound smart

and i’m not here to get my spelling right just for you buddy, if you dont like it, dont answer it

Sometimes I get really inspired and motivated to do better in everything, look at myself better, be healthier, study harder, keep things organized and my relationships stable. How come after like a week or two of this I lose focus and become lazy again? I’m going to have to assume it happens to most people too. How do you keep truckin along and not get lazy and careless?

Or is he basing his Systems Theory solely on Evolutionary theory?
I am studying Family Theory. I am looking for clarification or other thoughts on this particular theory.

Note that I did not say that I subscribe to evolution of man, I am questioning the basic assumption of this theory which is based on another theory.

I have a hard time throwing things out… Books, Gifts, Newspapers, and old items that I’ll probably never use again. Why can’t I part with my houseful of clutter? I always think that I might need it someday. Help me find a way to get rid of all this clutter. What is going on in the deep recesses of my mind?

Space around the house is precious and without proper organizing techniques things can get messy in a hurry. After all, it is hard to keep things nice and neat when you don't have anywhere to put your stuff! It seems like these days people have shoes specified to every occasion.

I use to be in a band, and it lasted for 6 years. Recently one of the members of my band decided he didn’t want to do it anymore, and move forward with his life. Well the rest of my band followed and now my band is more or less on the verge of breaking up. This band became a HUGE part of my life and it is upsetting that everyone else can just walk away. I’m left here wishing for the past and cherishing the songs we did together as sad memories now. I invested so much of myself into the band. How do I get over wishing for the past and stop focusing so much on it? It was my life. I imagine it is the same feeling a college football player gets after he played his last organized game for college and then it is all over. How do I get over this feeling and move forward?
