How can i be my true self?
How can i be my true self around others? Im a very intelligent and talented young man who feels i have a lot to offer to the world im a holistic therapist just started my own natural therapy business offering massage, aromatherapy, stress management etc, im a good poet, singer and dancer and so on. But why do i feel i have to hide these parts of myself from the world, i feel so anxious etc that people will judge me negatively or harshly that i either hide away from everyone, or when im around others i hide who i really am out of fear, how can i be my true self and show others who i really am without being afraid of rejection or ridicule, how can i overcome it all so i can start advertising my business properly, as i just feel people wouldnt want what i offer etc or wouldnt like me etc. Can anyone help?

this may seem out of context, but it has helped me overcome my fear of rejection: http://www.mpua.info/

You just have to know, or think that people will accept you for who you are. You may have had some bouts with rejection in your past, but you seem like a good guy, who knows what he wants from life, so you should be able to feel fine just being you. It may take some practice, and some postive feedback from others about your behavior, but soon you’ll adapt.
It’s simple sir. Do things with purpose and don’t just know yourself but accept yourself. Once you know your purpose act on it along the way we will realize our own self and we’ll see things in perspective even if we encounter things along the way it wont really bother you. I think that s more important than merely thinking what other people say. When you know you purpose that is for the good of alll theres nothing to be bother about makin mistakes its inevitable. people are all created perfectly IMPERFECT.
thank you
I can see why you would feel this way about yourself. In reality you sound very talented and ambitious but you may put a different face out in public. Ive seen many men do this actually. And its all because of fear. Do what makes you feel comfortable. Take some time reaching out to others and be truthful about it. You could just be shy and need practice. The more you’re around others the more of you will come out. hopefully.
