How Can I Let My Brain Stop Constantly Thinking About Self-improvement?

I always feel insecure. My sense of insecurity drives me to constantly think how to improve myself. My brain is constantly thinking about this issue and doesn’t stop. It affects me a lot. I mean I want my brain to stop thinking so I can have a real rest.But I can’t let my brain stop thinking about self-improvement. What can I do?

1) I think you need to calm down, take a breather, and relax
2)You need to learn to love and accept yourself for who you are and how you are no matter what.
By doing this you should be able to take away the insecuirties out of your head and be able to stop wanting to improve yourself because you will accept yourself just the way you are
