. But even if we get what we desire our ego won’t let us rest instead of enjoying what we acquire we run after another dream. Since, our dream is based on impermanent thinks we could never be satisfied. All of us seek to be happy, but the think that believe will bring us happiness actually causes as suffering and pain. We try holding our money, our job, and our woman tight but in the end we it is futile all things come in the end.

some people say meditation helps you let go of the the ego’s neediness and reach a state of being where you stop “wanting” and start “being.”

Read Schopenhaur. He shares your thoughts. He formed a pessimistic group/society. Very interesting stuff…I was fascinated with him in college. The class was called “happiness and the meaning of life” – lol!
