Im in a Business class and where doing a project on how business come up with sales goals each day, I already interviewd a couple of people but want more answeres… thank you.

I’m not in business but my guess would be that they look at previous days, like past mondays and find a mean to get like a base line and then if they’ve advertised a sale or something they would look at the percent increase of sales that an aggressive advertising campaign or sale has caused in the past and add that to the mean that they found for that day. If you’re starting from scratch and don’t have a history of your business to pull from then you are probably just going to have to do a lot of guess work.
