How Do I Become More Organized At School?

One day, spend 20 minutes extra at school to clean out your locker. Throw away any junk and take home anything unnecessary. Wipe down any surfaces with an antibacterial wipe. (They sell them in small, portable packages; keep one pack in your locker for spot cleaning). Put an air freshener in a corner. Every week, do a quick clean-up of your locker. Now, track down all of your textbooks. Put fabric book covers on the books. Try to use covers with bright, unique patterns and colors so you can easily find and recognize them easily. Use a piece of tape to label books. Write your name clearly on it with a permanent marker. Also include your homeroom number, if you have one, and your locker number so the books will be returned to you if they’re lost. Stick the tape on the front of the book. Use another piece to write the subject of the book and put that on the spine. Try to keep better track of them! Buy a fabric pencil case and new pens, pencils, colored pencils, crayons, markers, highlighters, whatever. I personally have two pencil cases. One with pencils and pens and one with highlighters and colored pencils. Replenish your supplies frequently and make a habit of being more organized.

Take 5min before going home every Friday to fix you locker up a bit for the upcoming week.
