How Do I Find The Motivation To Lose Weight Again?

Last year I lost 20 pounds. It was so hard and took so long! I put all the weight back on very quickly. Now I’m about 25 pounds overweight. I can’t find the motivation to start again. Any ideas? please help!

look at the ppl around u. the ppl that u love and care about. Think about all the thinks that u could do whith them or the embarresment that u could save them if u just wasnt over wieght. that is how i lost all my baby fat. I wieghed 117lbs before i got pregnant and afterwords a wighed 189lbs. I started thinking of all the differences it could make. and it has changed my life i am now 120lbs and i love it.

look at skinny clothes and skinny people. my friend thinks shes fat and she does that and it motivates her to want to loose her weight. and she asks me to work out with her. get a good friend and ask them to join you at the gym or for a walk/jog around the street.

What about starting with some fun exercises such as mall walking or walking to your favorite music? It always helps to have a good nutrition book for summer reading such as “Ask the Nutritionists: Answers to your Nutrition Questions”

Just think how many girls will want someone who is 25 pounds overweight. I guarantee you that if you lose all of that weight that you will be getting more attention from the ladies than you do now. Also, just think, do you really want to risk diabetes because you are just too lazy to get back to exercising? Shoot, even 15 minutes a day running you could see results. Get someone to exercises with you. It makes it much more enjoyable than just by your self. Download songs from the Internet and listen to them as you workout. Just simply exercises, it will be worth it!!!

Take a walk down the street naked. You’ll do some time in jail and I hear the food isn’t all that good.

Take a picture of yourself to be a daily reminder and help you keep at it to lose the weight. I am right now slowly losing weight, I stress the slowly part, it does seem to take forever but in the end it is worth it.

Find exercise that you enjoy doing…like walking or rollerblading or whatever…and do it with a friend, it’s always more fun that way.
Also, whenever possible, eat vegetables…substitute salads for meals…

Get out the clothes you were wearing 25 lbs ago and force yourself to wear them. Don’t buy new clothes just because you are gaining weight.

What motivated you before? Just think about how healthier you will be after losign the weight.
