How Do I Get Organized?

OMG girl you sound like one of my kids! lol…first throw out anything you haven’t worn in the last year..anything that no longer fits…if it’s money you’re worried about..like a dress you paid 150. for but never wore, then sell it in a consignment store and get some cash foro it….have a place for everything..organize your clohing by colour in your closet helps keep things organized…have bins in your closet and organize your stuff…one for hair access..another for makeup…throw out makeup that’s been around too long..you really have to be ruthless, because it’s hard….use the one touch rule..put a three baskets in a row..one keep, one toss, and one give away/sell…touch an item only once and make the decision within seconds, once it’s gone it’s gone..you’ll be surprised at how much stuff you have that you can live without

this is what i did:
i took EVERYTHING except the furniture out.
once you do that, invest in some stackable shelves and hooks for the wall. also, some cute baskets for smaller stuff. use the wall space as much as humanly possible. get some drawer organizers. make sure to label things, and you could even get some of those bags that you vacuum out all the air to make the contents smaller, and use them to store other seasons of clothes, like sweaters and such in summer.
take what you need back into the room and put it away exactly where it goes, and pitch everything you don’t.
it takes a while, but i swear it works.

Sort – get rid of/sell/keep
Purge – if you haven’t used something in the last 2 years get rid of it.
Assign a home – to all items by category, label everything
Maintain – be sure you immediately put items back in their “homes” when finished

get rid of some cloths you don’t like

closet: shoe organizers, everyday storage bins to keep
seasonal clothes that u won’t be wearing for awhile in.
take things u haven’t worn for awhile to goodwill!
drawers: each drawer for one type of item: jeans drawer,
sock/underwear drawer, shirt drawer, and then on the
bottom- a drawer for sleep/lounging.
desk: desktop or wall mounted organizing shelves.
GET RID OF THINGS U DON’T USE OR HAVEN’T USED FOR AWHILE. THat’s what i’m doing! Ebay it or take it to goodwill!

Heya, ur exactly like me … and im possibly the laziest person ever!
last year i renovated my whole bedroom
painted the walls got new drams.
i threw out so much cr*p in my life!
i have tubs of stuff under beds and my desk
and mum comes in every night 4 five minutes
and cleans it with me.
if u don’t like your mum perstering in your room (as i hate it)
i make sure its clean be4 she comes in.
also decorate your room that fits you personality
that way you will feel good about it.
and cleaning isnt so bad if you put on music and sing and dance.

get big bins so you can fit your things in
i think its a bad habit that you should work on by practicing cleaning
