You have to be really determined…get a picture in your mind of what you want the final image to look like. Focus on that as you organize your materials, and think of the benefits of being more organized.
Organize things by color, size, shape, etc. It really depends what you’re organizing; the options of how you organize are endless.
You can buy small/medium-sized baskets that match the room and place children’s toys, books, office supplies, remote controls, etc. in them. Buy a small filing cabinet or filing case to store loose papers and important files.
Watch “Clean Sweep” or other organizational shows to get specific tips for a specific room (office, bathroom, bedroom, etc.)
good luck! :)

color code your items. make sure everything has its place and a place for everything. get rid of old items you no longer use. or even better just google LEAN or 5S and use those ideas

Since organization skills are mainly dependent on memory, The best thing in the whole wide world, is to keep a book handy to write things down in. When you get an idea, write it down. No matter how good your memory is, no one can remember everything that they think of to do. You can even categorize and group things together that will work out systematically. Plan your work, and work your plan!
