How Do I Keep A Positive Attitude And Stay Motivated…….?
…..about HOUSEWORK? I HATE IT. I have two small kids, and they are mess-making professionals. I hate doing dishes, and I really am not very organized. Is there a trick to staying on task? Do you get bored too? How DO you stay motivated doing the same tasks, day in and day out? And, to add insult to injury, my In-laws are coming next Saturday, so I have to make it Military clean in here…I appreciate your help!

She helped me alot!!!
I have the same issue my 4 yr old is like a tornado behind me when i clean. I do it in steps. First get the dishes over with then tackle the other stuff. I take breaks in between and swig vodka, that always helps. Kidding but you have to take baby steps, dont’ look at the entire house just one room at a time, and keep the kids in their room or outside playing and then make them pick up their messes as they make them!
I would have my kids to clean up their mess teach them early! Just keep up with the dishing dont let them pile up plus if you have a dishwasher use it! I would pick Sunday to wash clothes and Monday for cleaning bathroom/kitchen I would choose Tuesdays for dusting and do things you enjoy in between.
Ok this sounds mad but it works for me. I printed off a load of labels like clean bathroom, vacumn downstairs, clean kitchen, tidys kids rooms, etc then stuck one label (i.e clean kids rooms on every page thats says thursday) to every page in my diary. That way everyday I look to see what my one job of the day is (apart from the every days neccessary ones like laundry and dishes) I only do that one job, then I treat myself. It takes a couple of weeks to notice the difference, but is much easier to tackle in small doses!
