-Make a schedule for youself. Plot out times when you will do homework and study, watch TV, hang out with friends, and anything else you need to do.
-Take advantage of extra help and extra credit offered by your teachers
-Participate often in class. Come everyday on time unless you’re really sick or have a legitimate excuse, take part in discussions, raise your hand (don’t be afraid of being wrong, teachers just like to see you try), always do your homework and projects and hand them in on time (or early if allowed to for extra credit)
-If you’re overloaded on clubs and groups, perhaps you should choose some to put on the backburner until you’re doing well.
-Perhaps hire a tutor or work with someone that does well
-Don’t watch TV, listen or music, or be in a distracted situation when doing work and studying
-Go over your notes carefully and fully at least twice when studying
What really worked for me was Q-Cards. Every time you have like a review, or something that seems like could be a test question, write the question on one side, and the answer on the other side. Mix it up so you don’t remember the order, and you’ll memorize the answers.
Got my marks from 60-70% to 85%-96%.
I also wrote all my homework, tests and when things were due in my agenda.

If you know you have a test study for two days for it. Participate in class and make sure you get on the teachers good side. Do all your homework correctly and depending on what age you are have a parent check it. Write your homework down in a planner.
Tip: When you have a test make flash cards!
when you get home. sit on your bed for five minutes with eyes closed and breathe in and out big breaths. this relaxes you. then start homework. any hard stuff first. that way you can ask parents for help before they start cooking or something. than you can do easier stuff. when it starts to feel complicated do the breathing again. any breaks you have during school… study.
use your off periods in school to get an extra start on homework
and as soon as you get home do your homework. do your assignments in order from hardest to easiest.
if you dont have homework in a certain subject, take 15 mins to go over notes and what happened in class.
ok well,,, you can study get a tutor and meet at starbucks… that’s what i always did… it payed off before tests.
buy a binder or an organizer and if your school has avid do that… mine does i just dont take it but its all about organization… hope i could help and gooluckk girlie
