because it is a sealed system. take the human body for instance, you sweat and do all sorts of things to keep your body in homeostasis.

They expend energy to maintain that organization. Remember that the overall entropy of the universe is increasing (and for any closed system), but it does not have to increase for a specific process.
Note the human body is NOT a sealed system. Sweating is an example of outflow to the environment.
