i don’t know, they’ll probably feel sad for a long time and get tired of feeling sorry for themselves and try to think positive in order to pick themselves up from out of the gutter

well when i was in elementary and middle school life was very bad and i just kept positive by thinking each day is a new day and i just tried to look at everything positively. i also ignored those who thought they were better than me cuz they are no different than me actually i’m probabaly better than them. I’m in high school now and everything is working out great. Good Luck! and i hope u learn to cope as well as i did.

Do you mean their family is dead or do you just mean they lost a job or some material possessions? Because I could certainly live without most of my material possessions and I could get another job. It wouldn’t be so hard to stay positive. But if you’re talking about losing ones family, I don’t think I could stay positive. Although time really does seem to make things more bearable.

The common answer: Jesus is Love. I’m all about that.
But other than that, they just know that life goes on and you will always have ups and downs but things can’t always be bad. If they were, everyone would be committing suicide. I’ve found that the people that deal with trauma the best are those that had to deal with some level of loss early on in life. For instance, I lost my mother at the age of 14 to brain cancer. But the way I look at is that by the grace of God, I had an extra 2 years with her, and we knew she was leaving so I had all the more encouragement to cherish that time. Sometimes you have to have an optimistic perspective on things, otherwise we’d all go mad.

Well listen to this, My sister went on vacation with her familiy and they got a flat tire, so they pulled over and called a repair man. When they were standing there a truck came by and busted a tire. My sister ran one way, and her two kids and husband ran the other way. The truck hit her husband and two kids and killed them all. She was devastated and slept on my couch for about a year and a half. Eventually she met a really nice guy and had a fantastic kid named Noah. She says that life has dealt her many hard ships, but it has also dealt her a great dealt OF JOY, SO SHE KEEPS ON LIVING. i THINK SHE IS A MONUMENT TO STRENGTH.

it depends on they’re outlook on life. some people look at things for the best. like if someone breaks up with someone and is devastated they find someone else who made they’re life a lot happier then the other person could’ve. It just depends on how you look at things

they haven’t lost everything .. they’re still alive … and if all they lost were material possessions … they can always work hard and get more.
Don’t count your riches by the money you have in your pocket … but by the friends you can rely on

They have oxygen, and probably love. Other than those two things, everything else is trivial.

To look ahead to the future. You aren’t always going to be where you are right now. Have a dream or goal–don’t stop until you get there!!
