with all that on your plate-how in the world do you even have time to THINK about getting organized-lol?!!!
routine is best but trying to move while going to school, being a mom/husband,and working is hard.
I’d say get through your move then focus on setting up a routine for yourself-it will be easier that way. then set yourself on a strict routine. get up at the same time each morning,go to work/school. when you get home-try to stick to a routine too (hard to do w/a 3 year old). have dinner at the same time each night and put your son to be at the same time. once he’s in bed, devote an hour or so to your homework and maybe another 30 mins to an hour to spending some one on one time w/your hubby then head to bed.
other thing to help keep you on track:
-have a dry erase or paper (write-on, fill in) calendar on your fridge or hanging somewhere so you can write down important meetings, events, and deadlines for school work.
-set out everything your son will need the next day the night before (clothes, any meals, diaper bag for daycare, etc).
-on weekends, make and freeze meals that you can just thaw and reheat for dinner during the weekdays. this will help give you more time in the evenings to do your work and spend time w/your family.
-try to schedule at least two days a month to “get away” from things. this can be as simple as spending a saturday in the park w/your son and having a picnic lunch.
hope this helps!! I know how it is-I have 3 girls and my youngest was just 6 months old when i was working full time (night shift) and going to nursing school full time(days). plus I have a long term boyfriend that I was juggling too!! you can do it!!!
good luck!!
Get a note book & decide what is a priority for today & what can wait until tomorrow. Get your priorities sorted out first & what ever energy you have left can then be used for the less urgent things.
Don’t forget about yourself though, you need a little bit of ” me time ” also.
Good Luck. X
There isn’t any tips or secrets to getting organized and sticking with it. All it comes down to is you have to do and keep at it.
