How Do You Set Goals? And Motivation To To Actually Set Them?
I am having some trouble doing this because I have procrastinated all this summer and I just don’t want to!
But I have to so…can you help?
btw I have not exercised or haven’t done any thing active at all this summer.
I have to because school is coming up and I don’t have the motivation to do anything. Not even household chores! I also stay up way late like 6 to 8 am.
I need help!

Oh My Gosh.
Well guess what, I HAVE the same problem.. well i “had” the same problem.
i literally told myself i would study for upcoming classes, and PREPARE for school… but i decided to sit in front of my stinking computer and do NOTHING.
not until i literally forced myself outside and tried to VIEW this life i have been GIVEN
! do simple sit-ups, you must start slow and increase your exercise routines as days go by.
START slow, and FINISH FAST.
you will feel better, much better by the end of summer. and to actually prepare for school, you should try going to bed earlier! trust me , you will be in serious h e l l once school starts (TIRED all the time) since you have developed a habit of going to bed around 5am..
print out a schedule for yourself, your the only one who can push yourself to achieve your goals this summer!.

sounds like you have some depression man. I know about this and just what you feel. I’ve not conquered it myself completely but if you think about all this you can research what depression is and realize you have it and you need help. Get on some medications if your doctor recommends it, worked really good for me. I still get weeks where I feel just like you described but overall It helps me feel better, feeling better will give you motivation to do things and set goals. Make yourself talk to someone about this, don’t matter if you start with a friend, girl friend, parent, or doctor, just do it, thats a start to fix the problem.
You sound like you have lost you mojo… that magical element that just makes everything right.
Here’s what to do.
1. Write a TO DO LIST
2. List 5 Tasks.
3. Do ONLY ONE EACH DAY and tick it off, don’t put it off, make it your goal for the day.
4. Reward yourself for doing it.
5. Relax and enjoy your day.
In a week you will have accomplish 5 things, in a month 20, in three months 30 in six months….. and on it goes.
Now in your mind, create a list of 100 things and then imagine them all ticked off. If you start this simple action plan today you WILL have completed 100 task…..all by Christmas WOW.
Now that’s goal setting.
