When i feel angry and i need to calm down, i usually take a deep breath and think of something that makes me happy, then i clean. i know i know, it seems weird but for me, it works because after i finish cleaning, it gives me a sense of accomplishment and it really pays off because my house will look beautiful and clean and i get compliments from it. Also, i take a bath to relax or i go out for a run. After i run, i also get that sense of accomplishment which helps me to distract from my anger.

Some people become angry when they have been wronged. It gives them them the power to correct the injustice done to them.
Others enjoy the sense of power anger provides.
Anger is more useful than despair.
First, I might analyze the source of my anger.
Then see where you’re at..

I think it differs from one person to another. Whatever helps you relieve stress is probably going to be helpful with anger as well, but if you really want to try something different and extreme you probably should try something that makes you angry and that you can take it all out on it. For example: a close friend of mine, he goes to the batting cages when ever he gets in an argument with someone at home and after couple rounds he is just fine not angry not super happy, he is just himself and seems quite content. I think some physical activity would help you too.
