How do you stay happy throughout the day?
I always end up getting so down on myself when something goes wrong. Even when I don’t like something about my appearance. I don’t know how to control it, I just get sad all of a sudden. How can I “just be happy”? How can I have the inner peace that some people have?

I recently redecorated my office. I brought in a picture from home of a light house with waves crashing all around it. When i start feeling irritated, overwhelmed or down about things i lock my door and just kinda get lost staring at the picture for a few minutes. It just takes me to another place even for a short time. It helps a little.
The more you feel down the more other things will make you downer. Not sure if that makes sense…
So try helping people and see if that makes you happy. Help them by making them feel better.
It’s obvious that you have a lot of irrational beliefs. You need to find the irrational beliefs you have and replace them with rational beliefs.
