For me, I love doing things that make me happy.
I think how you perceive situations has a lot to do with one’s individual personality. I, for example, never stress the big things. I was recently paying off two credit cards and the money that took out of my monthly pay was substantial. But I just kept looking on the bright side of things. They’ll be payed off, it’s only for so long that I’ll be paying, my credit score will go up, I’ll have more money when it’s over, etc.
Optimists, the glass-half-full type people, have an easier job of this than pessimists. For pessimists it’s easy to look at a situation and only see the bad side. My best advice is to try and look at the things that are good in your life when a bad situation comes around. Everyone has something that’s still good no matter how bad things get. Friends, pets, hobbies, family, those are all things you can try and keep in mind when everything goes pear-shaped.
Sorry, this was a little long and ramble-y.
