How Hard Is It To Have A Positive Attitude About Running?
i always try to have a positive attitude because my coach has said that if you have even a little bit a negativity before a race, it’s not gonna happen. it being, you’re not going to win that race because you’ve already set yourself up for that negative.. “im probably going to just get second.”

It’s hard for me if i feel like i’m being pressured to do it or if it’s something i have to do. But when it just comes to plain running for fun or a jog out with friends, i have a pretty positive attitude towards it.
Everyone, even the winner of a race approaches the starting line with a bit of anxiety. I wouldn’t worry to much about ONLY a positive attitude. A lot of times when I run….especially if it
s been a while, it takes some time to get “into the groove” and to have the desire for running again.
It’s fairly normal to not be “positive” about running early on. Most people have to DRAG themselves to the starting line….lol
It’ll come in time…and you might actually look FORWARD to running….No pun intended. lol
Hope this helped. Check out my question, please. =)
It may seem hard if you are pressured to do it. However if you want to do it for your on good then its actually easier to feel good about running. I never intended to win anything when I was in my school CC team, I just wanted the good exercises and the fresh air.
Not very hard! Try not to get too scared before a race and make yourself nervous. Just run your race!
It is very hard to maintain a positive attitude about most things. But your coach is right. Think you’re a winner and you are.
