How Often Should You Evaluate Progress Made Toward Your Short-term Goals And Set New Goals?

There is no real set amount of time, but a shorter period of time is better. The motivational power of goals decreases drastically as the amount of time between now and the goal increases. I like to set weekly goals — any longer than that and I lose motivation.
