Your sadness and depression when you think about your parents isn’t a permanent situation and it’s normal in your circumstances. You are in a period of mourning for your lost family. It’s just as real as if someone had died. Accept it for what it is and know that you will slowly get back to normal. Good luck.

Concentrate on the simpler happy things and try not to think too much. Sometimes you have to concentrate and get things done but make sure you also get time out from thinking and just make time to relax, as that is just as important. It’s all about balance =)

Well, first of all, none of it is your fault. Of course you’re probably tired of hearing that, but after several years you’ll finally realize it on your own…like I did…. but I don’t think “very happy” occurs in more than short, sporadic bursts. Instead, carefully think about every decision you make and decide that you won’t let yourself regret it…regardless of how it turns out.

As soon as your out of high school and on your own both parents are gonna seem pretty equal, unless one has done something bad in which caused the divorce. You will get to see them both, but youre gonna be your own person doing your own things. You really gotta love your parents both, they just didnt happen to be able to work it out with themselves, but thats not you at all. Youre gonna be hangin out with cute ladies and going to movies and then out dancing and all sorts of fun stuff. Oh my god college is so fun! Your learning and becoming to be somethin want and thats gonna make you good money in a career, and so are hundreds of other people your age. Those guys are cool brothers to kick it with and those girls are always gonna keep you smiling. Just gotta have flirt a little and show your not shy or afraid of rejection. Just a bunch of good times ahead of you, make em happen now sounds like a good idea huh?!
