How To Live A Happy And Meaningful Life?
I feel no meaningfulness when I work all day, because I feel the life is dull; I feel no happiness when I play all day, because I feel the life is empty. My dear friend, do you have the wisdom to both be happy and live a meaningful life? If so, could you share the wisdom with me?

My view may seem radical to you but do not simple dismiss it. Look at what I am saying and find out if it is true for yourself. I am do not want to convert you to any kind of thinking but this is what I see so here is my response to your question.
You feel that there is no meaningfulness to life. This meaningless seems to carry on through work and through your daily life. You want to lead a meaningful life and be happy. As a human being, we typically look for meaning in life. Life appear to be a empty existence and by finding purpose, meaning, it will get us through the moment, day, week or year. I remember my father telling me to get marry so I will have drive and purpose for my life. To have children so I have something to keep me going besides myself. Is life to be lived in a meaningful way? Will any activity get you to be happy and fulfilled? When you were a child, you were driven by wanting to have fun. When you were a teenage, you were driven to have sex due to biological reasons. As an adult, you are now looking if any activity can fulfill whats inside or any idea of purpose will make you feel not empty. As you can see from working day to day, activity does not make a person feel fulfilled. It is an activity that whether it was pleasurable or not does not in anyway make a person feel fulfilled because it is dependant that you perpetually keep that activity going. The activity has momentary value but that is all. Lets say you were a porn star that had sex with different people everyday. How long would it take before sex, which is pleasurable, became something that was dull as washing dishes? Not that you would not do it anymore but it would be something that you did out of necessity. So can we rule out activity if any sort does not make a person feel fulfilled? Lets look at the meaningfulness in life. Will having a meaningful life make you happy? To me, looking for meaning is an endevour that is not worth looking for. It assume that if I had an idea of how life could be led, then it would make me happy? Life will never bend around you idea of how things should be. That includes the need to be happy and meaningful. The human mind wants meaning. Its wants continuety to make itself more important but the mind is in no way capable to make itself happy nor to make your life full. All it can do is put obstacles for onto itself to try to reach and that reach can be many things. To be happy, content, full, and meaningful but that is all it can try to do. In fact, the mind, in this way creates the problems that life has to be meaningful because it sees the emptiness and tries to fill it with more ideas. Now this does not resolves what is there inside you but it does lead to one thing. It leads to whether YOU can find if life is full onto itself without the need to be happy to be fullfilled. It leads to the question, can there be something that is not caught up in the constructs of the minds and the “I” that exist. All activity of the mind leads your question and whether life is full or meaning. Try experimenting with not trying to be. Not trying to be anything important or special. If you see the emptiness inside you, look at it with detachment. Let it do what is wants to do. Let the mind do what it wants to do without you trying to playing into it. You may find, that BEING is enough.
