i can tell you that you have to be strong enough to understand that is your own life and you have to do something with it!
the distractions are only in your mind because if you focus and try to resist on your way, everything else will be unimportant for you.
just try to set your first goals not to high and if you reach one, you will have a good impression of yourself and get more confident with what you are doing.
be patient if something doesn’t work and keep practicing, don’t ever give up and try to maintain your motivation. if you make a mistake, don’t be too disappointed, analyze the situation and repair it or start over again.
don’t listen to the other people who will try to bring you down, you are on your own and is all about you.
good luck!

Sounds to me like you have a procrastinating nature. That is not uncommon. I personally would make a list of what my priorities are and take them in order of importance. IF you delay doing something too long there can be penalties or setbacks such as in not filing your taxes or paying a bill , rent or mortgage payment by the deadline given. I would make sure that you see each goal as an accomplishment and not a chore. Try to approach with the outlook of being proud of what you finish to get this started.
Set time aside for you to focus on what needs to be done, not on other things and do not multi task as that seems non productive for you to even try that. I would give yourself a schedule to go by and hopefully that will help to organize this.

Start with one goal; say ‘this is it, no matter what.’ Set up punishments for not staying on schedule.

ADD, eh? First, stop worrying. Second, I think you need to try some meditation or something, maybe yoga. Then just take everything, one step at a time, one day at a time. Make this your mantra. Good luck!

Get a franklin planner. it’s a great way to get organized, and track plans and projects. It really helped me keep on track.
The ‘Day at a Glance” is the best for this.
On the right is a page for your daily notes, phone numbers, etc. On the left is a daily appointment scheduler and a TASK LIST.
By having this handy, all day,a nd referring to it regularly, you can see your tasks laid out and ready. Each task completed gets marked off, but each task NOT completed is moved to the next day. As you do this, you can see how many are being left undone, and you get more organized to complete them.

Do not overwhelm yourself with several goals. Set one, and work toward it. One step at a time, may work better than having a whole list of goals. Once you get into the rhythm, you may be able to handle adding more. JMO
