I Have A Lot Of Ideas But I Can’t Seem To Get Them Organized, Or Even On Paper. Any Suggestions?

I’ve been kicking these ideas and feelings around in my head for a long time and I want to finally use them in my writing, but they won’t come out. Every time I sit down to try and write them, I never no where to begin and I get frustrated and give up. Is there anyone who can help me? I would greatly appreciate it.

Start wherever. It really doesn’t matter where you start because you are working on a rough draft or even a summary and not the final product.
Get over the idea that you have to write something in sequence or it has to be perfect. No matter how you struggle it will not be perfect the first time around and you will have to revise later. With that in mind, relax and just write.

You should try a graphic organizer. Sometimes you have too many ideas so you should put them on a graphic organizer so you can come back to them later. If you’d like some you can use them on the computer or print them here:http://gotoscience.com/Graphic_Organizer…

Try sitting down with a mini tape recorder and just copying it as notes later on.

Try watching a movie and writing down the plot points, scenes, acts, etc… You could also do it with a book but it will take much longer, of course. This will show you how other authors wrote and structured the book.
Of course you’ll need to know how to recognize a beat, scene, sequence, act, plot points, controlling idea, etc… Learn how to do that (how to write a story) from the tutorials on http://www.storyentertainment.com
That will help you to get your ideas on paper and begin to tell a story.
