I Need To Learn How To Get Organized For Taking Distance Learning Courses. Any Suggestions?

It has been 3 years since I took any academic college courses. I will be starting off with one graduate course so I can take things slowly and learn what will be expected of me next semester. I’d like to know how those in this situation get organized for distance learning. How do you plan for assignments, make time for reading, organize projects, etc?
