if you are in retail sales and a customer makes you angry and you lose it on them do you think they will still buy from you? 99.9% of the time the answer is NO! if you are in a commision based pay structure then that angry customer walking out the door just cost you money!!!
if you get angered by a potential client of any kind and don’t “manage” your anger then chances are you and that client will not do business!!
i’d say that is the importance of anger management in business!
I have not seen any evidence that anger management works, whether in business or not. I’m not saying it doesn’t help to diffuse a potential problem, but personally, I have not seen it’s effectiveness at all.
