Is Anger Management A Disqualifier For Military Service??? How Much So???
If you take anger management classes would this make you permanently ineligible for military service? If you are done with the course for say a year or so at the time you go to the recruiter would that be any better than if you were taking it while you spoke to the recruiters? Also if you are done with anger management is it possible to simply hide it during meps assuming you’re doing better?

It’s possible to hide it. But, if it is symptomatic of an explosive personality disorder, that is disqualifying for entry. And if your anger pattern resurface during basic training, it could earn you a trip to sick bay and on the path to being discharged for a pre-existing medical condition.
The source below is the medical standard for such a condition.
They offer anger management courses to active duty military members…..
Can you hide it? Yes.
But it won’t be so easy.
They’re worried about your personality clashing with others and impeding your ability to do your duty.
Also, if it’s been a year, I wouldn’t worry about it.
They don’t ask specifically necessarily, you don’t have to throw it out unprompted.
