I’m working on trying to get it under control but some times people& circumstances make it hard. I hope that one day it will be a thing of my past.

Notions of future and past often have far too much influence over the only time that actually exists, the present.
So anger management is only an issue of the present. After all, you can’t get angry in the future as the future doesn’t exist and if you got angry in the past there’s nothing you can do about it, other than change your thoughts about it in the present moment.
Yes, the past and the future can make you angry but only *IF* you let it do so. Anger, like any other emotion, can only happen in the present moment and the sooner we all realise this the better, then we might realise that we don’t need to be angry or if we do get angry it passes very quickly.
(There are a few clips in the Anger Management movie that explain this, believe it or not. Jack Nicholson is trying to get his client angry by making him talk to a lady-boy. But he’s also trying to get him to recognise when anger is appropriate – to do with a present situation – and when it is not!)
I don’t believe either one for me. I’ve never been a fan of confrontation or arguing.. any type of conflict I like to resolve as quickly and effeciently as possible. If the other person is an irrational lunatic, I ignore it all together.
Neither. I do have the “red headed” temper that goes along with my “stylish good looks” but I also know how to control it.
