It might be my ADD or a sign that I just need to get more organized but I really flip out when I can’t find things. Is that just the stress of motherhood?

ha how funny, I lose my keys, debit card at least 5 or 6 times a day. I was truly starting to worry about myself. I have come to the conclusion that not only do we have ourselves to take care, but we have to take care something in each of our family members lives. I bet if one of your kids asked where something is you would know. We are so busy taking care of everything around us, that our stuff always seem to be missing.

I spend about half my life looking for things I just had a minute ago. Especially my phone & keys.

I have no technical jargon for it, but I’ve known a handful of women who said both during pregnancy *and* for the first year or so after the baby, their memories were awful!

I’d think it’s probably more to do with being incredibly busy/preoccupied/stressed, but maybe there’s something hormonal even.

Either way, you’re not alone. Hope someone else had a better explanation for it or maybe a way to combat it. Best luck =o)
