Is it normal to be depressed for reasons that I can’t quite figure out?
I’ve been feeling really depressed, off and on and crying and all that good stuff, but it’s all really little things and I don’t know why I’m a high school freshman that is beating myself up so badly for having a 78 in my AP class, it seems like it shouldn’t bug me so much, and I don’t know really what my problem is, I guess I’m just overstressed and confused and whatnot, but please, I’d appreciate some suggestions on maybe stress management, or maybe someone helping me figure out what, if anything is wrong with me.

There can be biological correlates of depressive behaviors that are unknown to you, BUT do not just write this off as that. Sometimes we need to take time and analyze what could possibly be the problem and how we can address it. If you have a school counselor, I would suggest talking to them, because it appears you think it might be school related and they can help you best with that.
Breathing techniques can help you relax. If you do not think you are meeting your potential in a class, try talking to your teacher and see if they have any suggestions of how to be better accomplished.
I do not like to think that anything is particularly “wrong” with anyone, but rather that we misunderstand our own feeling and behaviors and try and “diagnose” them. If you can stay away from pathologizing yourself and treat your body and mind right (take breaks, celebrate little victories, et cetera).
Best of luck.
