Is it normal to dread going into work?
I used to love my job, and I was excited to go to work. Now management has changed, and the environment has become more dictator like. Added to that, all of my close co-workers quit. Within a short space of time everything changed. I’m biding my time until I find another job, but I’m so stressed right now with the idea of spending so much time in this environment. I can’t sleep. I get sick more often and I don’t smile anymore.

Some reluctance in the early morning is probably normal, but once you get there there should not be a feeling of being trapped or hating the entire experience.
If there is, you are either in the wrong profession or in the wrong company.

Well, that’s why they call it ‘work’. It can suck at times. Start looking before you quit and in the meantime, enjoy your new coworkers. Friends move on, but you might gain new friends too. Remember, slapping your boss might be fun, but you’ll get in trouble.
Do you work for the same company I do? Some days I was dreading going in. After a period of time I got used to the changes and carved out my own little space. I made it better for myself and it is rubbing off on those around me.
