Is It Possible That Human Beings Weren’t Meant To Live Together In Large Organized Populations Like We Are?

We all agree that we’re animals, right? How many particular animals live in groups of 300 million? Obviously we’re flawed or things would be perfect, so maybe we’ve got it all wrong.
Maybe you should just stay out of my business and I’d stay out of yours, eh? Obviously human psyche isn’t that of a dogs but it seems like if people would just stay out of each others way life would be alot easier.

Interesting point.
I think that humans were meant to be organized in populations, if you look as far back as early man people lived in communities, it helped with hunting and gathering. So at the very least, we are social creatures.
As far as the overly large groups, its hard to say. For much of our history, having as many countries as we’ve had has worked out fine, however there are more people in the world now than ever before.
I would argue though that we still live in relatively small communities. I only relate to my friends, family, and those that I know. While I may be aware of people on the other side of the country, we have no interaction, so we are not as closely bound as we are to others.
You do bring up an interesting point, however, like I said before.

It is not the size of the group it is the size of the area they live in. I agree, places like Manhattan are not fit for humanity. Hard to imagine one borough of one city with a population larger than most countries. New York City has a population of 8.5 million living in an area of 305 square miles. On weekdays, the commuters swell the number of people to over 12 million. Wyoming has half a million people and an area of 97,818 square miles. How different do you suppose life is in these two places?
This land is huge. You can live in whatever size society you choose to. If you live in Wyoming, you probably do not have very many people in your way or “in your business”. In Manhattan, it is not possible not to be in each others business. You cannot break wind without adversely affecting other subway riders stuffed in like sardines.

Ever since we formed social groups for protection and raising families we have been living in large groups. We are naturally social animals so there’s nothing untoward so far.
It’s just in the history of the planet, it’s never seen an organism that can instead of adapting to it’s environment, can change the surroundings it lives in so radically. That’s what’s so scary…

That’s absurd. God created us to be in communities. He put adam and eve in the garden of eden right? Not one in one place and the other somewhere else.
If we were all spread out, we’d need a whole lot more churches. There’s no way he’d make a mistake like that.

nothing and no one is perfect, can it be achieved? thats a whole different question and another deal
animals live in small groups and still have problems, so its not a question of population size

I know when and where I can inject myself into a situation. For better or for worse. But the world has become a “mob” mentality and has no sense.
All we need to is look to rat experiments.

cant be done my friend. one person’s life touches another’s..whether intentional or not.
in order to stay out of everyone’s business we would all have to individually live in total isolation…which is an entirely different problem.

Human beings weren’t meant to live at all. Look at what is happening to the world.

I see what your getting at, but I don’t think there would be enough room
