No. It is not the Organized Religions that will destroy Human beings. It is the mindless following of mantra without critical analysis and the herd mentality of those who follow in lock step without really knowing where they are going that will destroy humanity.
Too many people are willing to follow blindly. Really learning about a direction is difficult and time consuming. An inconvenience that many simply bypass.
Most Religions are about Peace and peaceful coexistence. Yet there are those who believe that God needs their help to get things going ( heaven knows why they worship a God who is impotent)
Christianity, for instance, has been used as a vehicle to force changes on others, yet if you really read into it, the doctrine prohibits forcing outsiders to change. It only asks its followers to mind themselves and Remind others.
People should look and learn. not follow like lemmings.

Liberals care more about plants and animals then about humans, so maybe the liberal agenda religion will be the end of those pesky humans.
I mean they say they care about humans but as soon as someone takes out one of the worst mass murders of current times…. he is bashed and has his character assassinated regularly by liberals.
When natives need to eat and live off the land in a freezing territory, the liberals would rather the natives starve and die in order to protect the wolves that kill all their food sources.
When wind power is projected to be used and power an entire city, the liberals block it because it ruins their view over the water.

Very possibly. But the real, root cause is not religion per se but, rather, how humans develop a set of beliefs. And, (mis)using those beliefs, they feel entitled to ignore the core principles of civilized society (eg: don’t kill).
A big factor in the formation of bad beliefs is believing sources which distort information for their own gain (eg. the stereotypical used car salesman). This can be partially mitigated by seeking out refereed sources. In refereed environments, authors are pounded to back up their statements before publication.
