Is There Such A Thing As Anger Management For Kids And Where Would I Find The Information I Need?
I would suggest you start at the bairns school, and ask to talk to the schools psychologist. There may be an underlying reason for the anger, and all they need is someone to talk to.

Yes, absolutely such a thing. There are a number of books (I had a kid with “issues”). Here are some titles:
How to Take the Grrrr Out of Anger
by Elizabeth Verdick (Dec, 2002)
A Volcano in My Tummy: Helping Children to Handle Anger : A Resource Book for Parents, Caregivers and Teachers
by Eliane Whitehouse and Warwick Pudney
Hot Stuff to Help Kids Chill Out: The Anger and Stress Management Book by Jerry Wilde
Look at any of these on Amazon and then check for other related titles or titles people bought with this one.
Your local public library, if you have one, may have some of these.
Therapy for children with anger issues can also be effective.
yes. Depends on how old the kid is. Check with your local child/family community mental health center. Or talk to your insurance company to recommend a good child therapist.
Do you watch Supernanny or Nanny 911.
These programmes have good tips for keeping the little tearaways in control.
Yeah been there done that. Just dont put them in inpatient it messes up kids more trust me because they’re surrounded with other peoples problems and they just pick them up, and its a repeating cycle. Well, My sisters ADHD then she got hospitalized they diagnosed her with ADHD BIPOLAR and then once again hospitalized ADHD BIPOLAR SCICFRINIC they just keep on diagnosing her and now she’s in residentual.. Just be careful what you surround your kids with it can really mess them up! But yeah just go to Your local Hospital and ask them they will refer you or search Behavioral Hospitals in ” city ” State ” and then a bunch of places will pop up and just ask for outpatient therapy/ counseling
I had anger management classes when I was 13 worked wonders for me! Sadly I don’t know any websites. The program I used is no longer running.
Try being a better parent
Yes, there are counselors for tweens and teens who specialize in redirecting anger/anger management. If you have a family practitioner or general doctor, ask for a referral or a high school guidance counselor or clergy person would have this information for your area. Learning to deal with your anger is originally taught by your parent(s)/guardian, so most likely if there is a teen problem, there is also an adult problem that needs to be addressed as well. Whether that be passive or agressive anger it is there and unhealthy.
I searched it and this is what came up. Here is the search engine page, look at some of these sights. One even has a work book you can buy. http://search.yahoo.com/bin/search?ei=UT…
What the f**k are you asking me for? I am trying to do my bloody homework!
